AND MICROCREDITS
EMA is a service directed at advising and supporting entrepreneurial women in
defining, organizing, planning and creating their small business or their own position of
employment. The service offers personalized tutorial guidance and assistance to those women who have decided to work for
themselves, through the elaboration of a financial and feasibility plan of the

It is directed at women who have a lot of problems accessing the financial system, that is, they cannot obtain the economic resources necessary to carry out their project. Because of the specific characteristics of the group this is aimed at, the program gives much importance to support and assistance in the process of defining the idea and the business plan, also maintaining it for a length of time once it has been set up.

SURT began the Own Business Project in 2001 with the support of the Un Sol Món
Foundation. Since then, the project has gradually been consolidated and it is this year when a collaborative agreement between
SURT and FUSM was established and the project was reinforced with part of the grant received by the City Council of Barcelona—Personal
Services.
