RAVALTEXT,
COMPANY OF INSERTIONOn November 24, 2005,
Ravaltext, Insertion Company was inaugurated, of which
SURT is one of its sponsors. The company opened its doors on June 15th on 4 Sant Oleguer Street, in the Raval
neighborhood.

RAVALTEXT is an insertion company that was born out of the collaboration between the non-profit social sector, represented by
SURT, Women’s Association for social
insertion, –the organization that manages the
project—and the Tot Raval
Foundation, promoter of this
project; and the private
initiative, through people who have been historically linked to the commercial and business sector of the Raval
Neighborhood: Rosa Gil, Emili Sarrión, Enric
Pantaleoni, Ramón Corredera y Javier Estébanez.
Its activity is making clothing alterations for
stores, fashion chains, individuals, and small
collections, among others. It also does training in professional profiles linked to the clothing
industry, as part of the development of the
workers’ insertion journeys. Ravaltext is also linked to the project of second hand clothing stores – MODA AMIGA – coordinated by the Un Sol Món
Foundation.
