Gender Indicators against social exclusion Phase I (2002-2003)

Project financed by the DG of Employment and Social Affairs of the European Commission. 

The main objective of this project is to incorporate the gender variable in the analysis on the social exclusion and design of possible intervention strategies. Specifically, the proposal is the creation of social exclusion indicators, at the European level, under a gender perspective. That is, the creation of indicators that reflect the specific situation of the women who live in European territory and are immersed in social exclusion processes.  In this first phase, a network of European members and a common theoretical framework on social exclusion were created.  + Gender Indicators Phase II
